Church of the Valley hosts American Heritage Girls (Troop CA2215) and Trail Life USA (Troop CA0619). Both are faith-based character and leadership programs for kids, with outdoor skills, service projects and badge work. Troops meet the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month, August through May, and families from anywhere in the High Desert are welcome. For American Heritage Girls, email ahgca2215@gmail.com.
