Church Life - Who's at the Helm

  Speaker: Aaron Seeger   Timothy 3:1 - 16   1. Having a church that supports truth starts with godly leadership. (14-16) As the church behaves properly it points towards truth. Irresponsibility at the helm damages people’s perception of the truth about Jesus. 2. Godly leaders must be chosen carefully. (1-12) ĕpiskŏpē: overseer or bishop. 3. Choose your leaders carefully and wisely! Leaders Does his inner life match his public image? Would his family qualify him? Would the general public affirm him? Deacons Thank them privately. Honor them publicly. Reward them collectively.
